Stage 1 - Prepping and Salvaging - Done.

WIP of my Solid Snake vest. As a base, I used a normal sports style vest (right) and a cheap knockoff SWAT style vest: [link]

I'm going to be removing the collar from the Sports vest, and then sewing them together (sports vest on top), and using the excess material at the bottom to make the zipper flap. Then I'll be using USMC issued ISO (sleeping) Mat foam, to make the muscle designs. By sewing "pockets" into the vest with cut out mat pieces inside (in between the two vests). [link]

As for the over-the-shoulder straps, I have an ingenious idea to go about that. I just can't describe yet...

Also, I managed to salvage all the pouches, the straps and buckles. I can easily mod the pouches to the Alice Clip system, easily.
